MAYA SIBLINI
ABOUT ME
I lost my dad twice. The first time, to a stroke that left him hemiplegic, unable to speak, read, write, or even understand language. He was trapped in his own paralyzed body and mind.
The second time, 12 years later, to his brain shutting down.
I was only 24 years old when I learned just how powerful the brain is, and the devastating effects it can have on our physical and mental wellbeing. I used to believe that ‘the mind is what the brain does’, at the total mercy of the brain. Medical professionals corroborated this, saying that if my dad didn’t show any signs of recovery within the first 6 months, he wouldn’t recover at all.
Today, thanks to studies in neuroplasticity, I know that to be false.
Today, I know the brain can heal itself.
Many stroke patients have recovered even years after their initial stroke. Much of that healing can be stimulated by conscious habit of thoughts and action, teaching the brain to rewire itself with the power of the mind – adjusting the initial belief to ‘the brain is also what the mind does’.
Years after my dad’s passing, I found solace in Marisa Peer’s method. Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) is rooted in the belief of the power of our thoughts over our body, and in the neuroplasticity of the brain. RTT truly works.
Using hypnosis, RTT helps reconnect with our subconscious mind to retrieve and understand the limiting beliefs that hold us back. Through this technique, understanding what caused us pain is what triggers the start of our healing journey.
Once we have reached that understanding, it empowers us to heal and change by installing positive, life-affirming, and long-lasting beliefs in our subconscious mind, enabling us to reach our full potential.
The power of the mind is real. It can create all the illnesses in the world, and can reverse them just the same. No drug is more powerful.
Though I couldn’t help my dad all those years ago, today I want to help you tap into the power of your mind to heal yourself.
